At the state level, there have been LRM presentations at AAUW state conventions in PA, NY and WA.  We have approached other AAUW state organizations, too,  like AZ and NJ.  Judging from the write-ups in this report, it is obvious that seed money is an important incentive to branches who want to start a Let’s Read Math program.  Branches who intend to start a program are very disappointed when they find out that grant funding is no longer available.  
               
We also get requests from individuals, like the NC chemistry professor who wanted to have a math/science day in her community, and the school librarian in Mississippi who wanted to link up with an AAUW branch in MS to run Let’s Read Math programs at her school. They, too, are disappointed to find that funding is not available for their projects.
