ADVANCED FUNBOOK 1

The Advanced Funbook was developed for teachers in grades 4-6, who wanted math activities for children in the intermediate and upper elementary grades.  Middle school teachers also find the lessons useful.

Click here to see a list of books and math topics featured in Advanced Funbook 1.

This Funbook also includes a list of websites related to the math topics, on a perforated page that can be removed from the Funbook if desired.  Although we cannot guarantee that these weblinks will remain active, we will endeavor to keep an updated list here on the website.  See weblinks.

During our internal review process for this Funbook, several teachers  made suggestions for extending and enhancing the math activities for use in middle grades.  These extension activities will appear in the Teacher’s Guide for Advanced Funbook 1, which is scheduled for production in 2009.  We are also in the process of developing workshops for older students.
